Our story

Founded in Huangpu, Guangzhou. Focused on the connections between materials.

June 2021 · Huangpu, Guangzhou

Every bond begins with how a part will be used.

Understanding a part through its bond

The appearance and feel of an automotive interior depend on the interaction between its surface, foam and supporting structure. The adhesive layer is usually hidden, yet lifting edges, bubbles and delamination affect the experience of the finished part. When RELANET was founded in Huangpu, Guangzhou, we chose automotive interior and exterior bonding as our development and service focus, starting with the connections between materials and the problems customers need to solve.

Bringing formulation and process together

We develop materials and provide application support for waterborne adhesives, polyurethane dispersions (PUD), modified polyolefin hot melts, PUR and adhesive films. A project starts with the actual substrates, surface condition and production requirements, then moves through samples, forming and adhesion evaluation after aging. Laboratory results need to be understood in the context of the part, equipment and process. Material selection also involves manufacturability, quality validation and delivery.

Supporting development through production

Our work spans formulation development, laboratory testing, material and process matching, supply and on-site technical support. Across different climates, equipment and cycle times, we aim to help customers define problems clearly and build sound trials. Product documentation and project records help us carry learning forward. This is how we seek to support the Chinese automotive industry's international development.
